Keep up the good work Ron Zook.

#16 class is ahead of Penn St. and others in Big 10 and just behind OSU and Michigan.

Hey Ron, can you recuit a two sport athlete (Football and Basketball) and give Bruce Weber some help?

Can't wait until Mizzou whoops Illinois again. New names to learn: Wes Kemp, Drew Temple, Andrew Jones!

About Illini Optimism
This is for all the Illini fans who are enduring the fallout of the Rose Bowl, the demise of Coach Bruce Weber's 2007-2008 Illini, and the loss of Rashard Mendenhall. We need to have some silver-lining to look forward to. Will it be Legion? The return of Jamar Smith (sorry Josh). I hear some fans pointing to that, but in 2008-09 you will lose Pruitt and Randle. Will we go with a 5 guard lineup Coach Weber? Will the loss of Rashard Mendenhall be made up with improved play by Juice Williams, Daniel Dufrene, and Arrelious Benn? Will Ron Zook be able to replace J Leman on defense? What are some of your takes on these subjects?
